5 Week Still Life Painting Class

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn to paint with acrylic in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. You will be shown practical methods and techniques to paint beautiful still lifes. No experience is necessary and all painting materials are included in the fee.

When/Where:
Monday from 6:00-8:30 pm at Hoop Gallery, The MAC, 77 Beach rd, Torquay 3228.

TERM 3 - August 3rd, August 10th, August 17th, August 31st, September 7th
NO CLASS AUGUST 24th

- Colour theory and mixing
- Brush techniques
- Setting up a still life
- Composition

Materials provided:
- Acrylic paints
- Paint brushes
- Palettes
- Aprons
- Paper
- 1x canvas per person

What you will take home with you:
- a beautiful painting by yourself
- the skills and confidence to try paint at home on your own
